In December 2022, Michelle Valladares, director of the MFA and Aybike Ahmedi, a current MFA student, were interviewed on the CUNY TV program Urban U, in a story about “CUNY MFAs on the Rise.” CCNY’s MFA program’s dramatic rise in enrollment for the past several years was the topic.
